AGL Wins SieMatic ID Design Award 2022

Al Gurg Living is thrilled to be among the winners at the SieMatic Design Awards 2022. This coveted contest welcomes entries from all over the world. Al Gurg Living Team won the SieMatic ID Contest which honours creativity, functionality, and precision in kitchen design and expertise.
 
The award-winning SieMatic Classic kitchen was designed by the talented design team at Al Gurg Living for a client in Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah. The kitchen features luxurious and personalised detailing with full wall-to-ceiling cabinetry and sterling grey velvet matt cabinetry with nickel gloss handles. The design details include maximised storage in the cabinets with built-in stainless steel appliances by Gaggenau to complement the Quooker taps.
 
The SieMatic ID Contest 

The SieMatic ID Contest is not about extensive or complex planning concepts. Instead, it is about seeking the extraordinary. The kitchens with the best chances of winning were those with compelling design quality and creativity. Rather than appealing to a certain aesthetic, it is about kitchens that reflect the wishes and spaces of the people who cook and live in them. 

The first SieMatic ID Contest was held in 2019 and exceeded all expectations. The competition garnered over 300 entries from more than 25 nations. The SieMatic ID Contest for 2022 followed suit. Before the winners were announced, André Backemeier, Creative Director at SieMatic Möbelwerke explained: "The SieMatic ID Contest highlights design quality and creativity and in 2022 will once again be awarding prizes for outstanding international interior and kitchen designs. In short: thrilling and enriching individual kitchen concepts."
